Sunquest Signs is a full-service signage company based on the Sunshine Coast, delivering complete signage solutions across South-East Queensland and beyond.
The Sunquest Signs name has been part of the Sunshine Coast business community for more than 40 years. Beginning as a plastics manufacturing business, it entered a new era in 2007 when Syd Shilling brought together Sunquest Plastics, Engraving Systems and Moffat Beach Sign Co. to form Sunquest Industries.
In December 2022, Sunquest entered its next chapter under the ownership of John and Paula Gowland. As Director, John brings more than 30 years of business and leadership experience, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship, reliable service and building long-term client relationships.
Today, Sunquest Signs operates from a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Warana. Our experienced team manages every stage of a project, from design, planning and compliance through to manufacturing, installation and ongoing maintenance.
With extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, we produce everything from architectural and illuminated signage to wayfinding systems, building signage, custom fabrication, engraving, and vehicle graphics. Keeping these services under one roof gives us greater control over quality, consistency, and project timeframes.
We work with businesses, builders, developers, government organisations, and national brands to deliver signage that is practical, compliant and made to last. Whether it is a single sign or a complex, multi-site rollout, our approach remains the same: understand the client’s vision, communicate clearly, and deliver work we are proud to stand behind.

- We send 100% of our office waste to recycling or reuse — that includes paper, computer supplies and redundant equipment.
- 100% converted all our signage packaging to cardboard recyclable boxes for all light signages.
- All our lightings are energy efficient LED lighting in offices and factory space to reduce energy consumption.
- We 100% recycle all our digital printing inks and in-house print cartridges.
- We fully recycle all metal product, backing papers, packaging and plastics waste from signs.
- Our illuminated signage products incorporate LED lighting components — best-of-breed environmentally sound technologies.
- We reuse our signage raw material off-cuts wherever possible, significantly minimising waste.
